Double rush: SOR + Amelie?

I'm thinking of rushing two shows tomorrow for the last day of my trip in NYC.

But is it possible to rush and attend both Amelie and School of Rock tomorrow? (Sunday).

The box office for SOR opens at 11am and sells Rush for both the 1pm and 6pm shows and I was going to go for the 6pm. The SOR box office is the Winter Garden on 50th and Broadway.

Then I'm hoping to "rush"?? over to Walter Kerr theatre on 48th and get line and hope that isn't too late since the box office isn't open till noon.

Then if that all works out, Amelie starts at 3pm and is 1 hour and 50 minutes, so 4:50pm, which would give me enough time to hop over to 50th for SOR at 6pm.

Now I can also enter the SOR digital lottery. The results for matinees come in at 9am? Is that right? Even on weekends, they give you the results at the same time? If I win that, I can get the tickets and easily do the Amelie rush I'm guessing.

Now last question. Any comments on how early people having been rushing in person for the shows? And can anyone comment on what seats they got?

You can definitely do this.

I'd line-up before the box office opens for SOR and secure those tickets first. Amelie is an incredibly easy rush. I rushed a few weeks ago and showed up 30 minutes before curtain and got great front orchestra seats.

Amelie is not doing too well, so it should be a pretty easy rush. SoR is tricky because it's Alex Brightman's last performance, which will be a draw. Line up for SoR first, then go to Amelie.

If the SoR box office opens at 11, be in line by 8:30 and you should be good. I'd just hit up Ameile after that.
