I thought I heard somewhere that the plan to not have the nudity shown on mattinees was scratched and they're just doing every show the same with the nudity. Is this true?
The nude scene is very minor and uninteresting.
It would have been better (in my opinion) if Hewitt showed a bit of skin. He is the sexiest thing about the show.
Well he is very sexy.
The show however is not sexy in the least.
Umm, yeah that's what I thought. But what about the mattinees? I don't believe in censorship so I wanna know if the mattinees are still being censored cause I want to see the real thing. Updated On: 8/22/04 at 07:55 PM
yeah, they are showing the nudity in every performance now. both nude scenes are very short and tastefully done though. its not such a big deal.
It is really a shame. All of the performers in the show were great. All had great voices. The music and chemistry between Errico and Tom could put you to sleep.
WHERE WAS THE PASSION.
Look at Tom! He certainly is worth looking at.
The ending is ridiculous!
They don't actually have intercourse on stage? Am I confusing this with Avenue Q? OThey just shows tits and ass, ok. Good to know every show is the same. Thanks!
Avenue Q has full puppet nudity. Which was actually sexier then Dracula.
And I adore Tom Hewitt. Bring back Rocky Horror. He was incredible in that show.
EXCUSE ME:
Avenue Q has nothing in common with Dracula. It has a great book and a brilliant score. It is funny. It is touching. It is clever.
It is sexy. It is sad. It is one of the strongest shows I have ever seen.
Dracula has a talented cast. Great sets. Great costumes and by far the most ridiculous book and score. It could put you to sleep. There is nothing sexy about Dracula.
Actually Tom is sexy but he needs a good score and a good book.
He and the rest of the cast do the best they can with what they have.
They need to be put into a better show. Enough said.

The fabulous Avenue Q had more than just full puppet nudity. It had raunchy puppet sex! Some of those positions, I haven't even tried! LOL.
Since I have no desire whatsoever to waste my money, can someone tell me what this rediculous ending to Dracula is?

"The nude scene is very minor and uninteresting."
The entire show is uninteresting... boycott at all costs.
Well,
I am glad I am not the only one who felt that way.
So people can't blame me for the closing of this show.
I was impressed with the flying though. I also was impressed with the blonde barbie doll. What was her name?
She has a beautiful voice and needs to be seen in a different show. Maybe an Opera.

Kelli O'Hara and yes, she was definitely a highlight.
PLEASE - I need to know about the ending!! How ridiculous is it? I need to know!
Kelli O'Hara-
Really looks like a Barbie DOLL. Her voice is exquisite.
Divine. But if only she was in candide.
Now that would be worth seeing her in.
CANDIDE.
I need to go to bed.

If she's got a little bit of a belt I could see her as Glinda in Wicked.
Wicked. That would work! Actually she would be great.
I am not sure she is bubbly though. I saw her in Sweet Smell and she was great.
I was one of the only people that loved Sweet Smell.

How could Ave. Q have "full puppet nudity" and graphic pupet sex if the puppets have no lower halves to their bodies?
That's the joke.
What't the ridiculous ending? Is it the ending that the ballet had? Because I love the ballet. It's amazing...

Bad theatre can NOT be tolerated!
(AKA--DRACULA can not be tolerated.)
So can someone please give me the spoiler already? What's the ending to Dracula that makes it so rediculous?
What, no one??
I would like to know the ending too! Share the knowledge.
