Before my tiny review.. I know i said many bad things about Dracula before i saw it.. I'm taking it all back!
Okay.. I went to see Dracula today with my best friend. His girlfriend really wanted to see it becuase she is a big Dracula fan.
The Show was Sold-Out (they also had standing room). We had row F center orch.
First Act - Amazing Music, We loved Tom and Melissa.. They were really good. The flying was A+ :) It's what makes the show so fun. We loved every bit of the first act.
Second Act - The Story was much stronger and understandable then the first act. Melissa gave it all, as well as Tom. Some great music and sound effects really added to the second act.
Stage Door - Everybody in the cast were super nice! Some people even said "Remember my face, because i'll be here again soon!"
Now, Dracula may not be the best show in town right now, but it does make a very special and enjoyable broadway night.
And for the bad Reviews - Go see the show. Only you can decide if you like the show.

YAY TINY-TOON!!! I'M SO HAPPY YOU LOVE IT!!!! WE MUST ALL BAND TOGETHER AND SUPPORT DRACULA!!!!!!!!
The cast IS super-duper nice (did I just say super-duper? I'm an idiot... Sorry, still high from Avenue Q last night!).

We should all meet--everyone on this board who loves Dracula--and just go get student rush (or you know, 18 of us...) and then wait afterwards and just tell the cast that we're supporting them. A big crowd hehe.
I wonder if they know about The Order?

So glad you liked it. I agree. If you havent seen it go! You may like it, you may not. But dont let other peolpe decide for you.

Posted: 9/5/04 at 12:45amI totally agree...go and see it before deciding whether or not to like it. Don't let the critics decide for you. I went a couple weeks ago and absolutely loved it. Both Tom and Melissa are perfect for the roles of Dracula and Mina, and the special effects are awesome :)

Dracula Dracula Dracula Draculaaaaaaaaaa.
When I was in Joseph, we had this joke, I don't know where it came from, but it was saying Spatula in a really weird way... I can't type the way we said it obviously, but it was like SpatuLAAAAAAAAAAAAA. And that's how I saw Dracula now. DracuLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
...Everyone's gonna think I'm really weird now and not want to see Dracula with me, huh?...

Yeah, it is. I'm learning the harmony as we speak...
