OH... MY... God...

I just heard Jennifer Hudson's version of "And I am Telling You."
I sat there with my mouth open - in awe. I don't usually gush but my gosh - she just made that song her own - while paying tribute in a way to the original. It's really quite amazing!!

How awesome for her!

By the way, I've been told Jennifer recorded 2 versions of AIATY for the film. While rehearsing on the set to the first track...she discovered more "moments" in the song (as she sang along) and went back to the recording studio to lay down an "even better" track which ultimately ended up as THE version we'll hear in the finished film.

This "leaked" track that everyone is flipping out over could very well be the first version.....yes, the movie version could actually be "even better"!!!

Hold onto your hats - On October 16th we'll get our first peak at what many people are already saying is a modern movie musical masterpiece!

Just heard AIATY. OH MY GOD!!!! Amazing. Truly spine tingling, breathtaking moment. Trying not to get too enthused incase the movie as a whole sucks, but this is more than a good sign.

Marquise, in my defence, I got excited about Rent and the Producers(although admittedly not to this extent), and look what happened there. So, as it stands, until I actually see and hear the final product I'm not going to hang out the flags!

I am going to try my hardest to not listen to "AIATY" or the soundtrack as a whole when it comes out, so I can get the whole effect in the movie theater.

But, because I am a weak little bitch, I probably will give in!

I'm going to wait to listen to AIATYING, but I really would love to heart the preview of this song that is "It's All Over." So I definitely do NOT want anyone sending me this song...!
