Here's the real "teaser" poster....
Hmmm...not sure that I like them still using slightly CGI looking people.
Again...it's just a teaser though.
re: Dreamgirls poster#4
Posted: 10/16/06 at 4:01pmSadly, Anika and Jennifer probably won't be billed above the title.

Hudson is listed LAST if you look at the poster...even after Keith Robinson.
It doesn't even say AND Jennifer Hudson or Introducing Jennifer Hudson. Does anyone else think that's lame?
re: Dreamgirls poster#7
Posted: 10/16/06 at 4:13pmYes, I do. Considering Effie is oen of the lead roles.

I absolutely love the poster... except for the "strangers" in silhouette.
That ain't the movie girls in those "Steppin' to the Bad Side" spangles. I kinda wish one of them was shorter and one was heavier... you know, like IN THE MOVIE.
But it's a great design.

No problem, Louie.
I think it would've been cool if the actors were listed kind of like this:
Not necessarily in that order, but I just think it would be nice to have the names of the three girls together.

Posted: 10/16/06 at 5:16pmI understand what you're saying, best, but I do wonder how much control Beyonce actually has the over the billing. She did have to audition for the film after all. Anyway, I think that billing as I listed it would be just as effective as how they're doing it, if not more so. It's not like most people aren't going to the look down to see the second line after they see the names Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx listed.
re: Dreamgirls poster#15
Posted: 10/16/06 at 5:21pmI thought Hudson should have been billed last as "...and introducing Jennifer Hudson." I hope that as the pre-screenings increase and the buzz mounts, she'll move up in the billing order.

Posted: 10/16/06 at 6:01pmJennifer is being billed in the film last with "introducing Jennifer Hudson". She'll get her due after the film is released. I don't care whose name is above the title (if only for marketing purposes) as long as they do the film and characters correctly.
