I love drew, want to see him as Valjean, although i am a tad skeptical.

I agree with Justin. I've always been a Drew fan, and am desperate to see him as Valjean...but part of me wonders if it's really the right role for him.

If the producers are deliberately saying, "Ok, it's a revival, let's take a fresh approach to Valjean," I think that's terrific. If that's the case, I would think doing that with the original revivial cast would've been the time. People may be a little less willing to accept a different "type" at this point.

Oh well -- either way, this thread needs decorations.

I loved viewing Drew's take on Judas from Jesus Christ Superstar.

One of the best Judas' I've ever seen...He just gets soo deep into the skin of his roles, and his voice is great.

I'd say hes the Jonny Depp of musical theatre for me.
