I found this song called 'Driedel, Dreidel, Dreidel' with Shoshana Bean n cast, so I listened to it. Has anyone listened to it? I has Harvery Fierstein, Kerry Butler and like casts of Hairspray ... all about Jews. It is such a fun song... but what is this song about? Anyone, did I miss out sth?

It was a song recorded for "Carols for A Cure", a Bc/efa CD where shows record holiday songs for charity. I'm almost positive of this, because on shoshanabeanonline.com there is a little clip of her singing it.
where did you find the whole song?
Yes, I have this song on the 2003 Carols for a Cure CD.
Ask Marc Shaiman. He wrote it and can tell you all about it. I actually sang Harvey's part at a benefit in Chicago last winter featuring all the music of Mr. Shaiman.
An honor I'll never forget! Thanks Marc!

I'm listening to it right now!
"Here's a little dreidel, it's small and made of clay
But I'm not gonna play with it, 'cause I'm too rich and gay!"
I was playing along with it, hoping it was going to be the same thing as in South Park, but there's just one little difference: they made it cleaner, and they added this whole thing with the goys joining in on the act, and Chester Gregory hamming it up with a new ending: "Christ the SAVIO-O-O-O-O-O-O-OR is booooooo-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oooooooooorn!" Nice.
And by the way, Kerry wasn't singing on the song.
this is an apsolute favorite of mine....and that shoshana she never stops amazing me.
way to go marc...another peice of art.
I love Shoshana in that song. Good stuff.
