Just got home. Won the lotto for it (finally). There were 30 people there for the lotto & there are 20 winners so it was good.
Front row is AMAZING for this show. Ive seen the show 2 other times both from Rear Mezz and you can't even compare the show today to how it was back there.
No understudies- I have a lot of luck with that because all 3 times I've seen it now, I haven't seen an understudy :).
The audience was great today! They laughed at every little joke. It made the show so much more fun because last time I saw it, the audience was bad which made the show not as exciting.
The front row was perfect for this show. I never realized 1/2 the facial expressions that got a laugh until today.
Standouts today would be Sutton and Beth. I finally saw how "Show Off" is done with the costume changes because I was sitting in A6 so it was on the side. It was really cool to see Sutton like panic to get it done. I also noticed the knee pads she spoke about in the backstage video. She was giving it her all today.
Beth was so good today. There was just something about her performance that stood out today. She looked directly at me when she did the line about olives before Show Off. It was so exciting!

I was the only person at the stage door after which was upsetting. Only Troy, Jason, Garth & Ed came out- or atleast until I stayed. I heard somebody saying there was a holiday party and they all went straight there so I figured nobody else was coming out so I left around 5:15.

Thanks for the review, I've seen Drowsy twice, 1st preview and soon after opening, both times front and center. Glad to see it's doing so well.
I was there a couple of weeks ago to buy the Sutton Foster Holiday cards, and got to peek at the final bows.
Cool!

Thanks for the review!

Beth seems to enjoy giving the front row a lot of attention. She made eye contact with me for a good 10 seconds during "As We Stumble Along" when I saw the show in October.

I saw the show yesterday by winning the lottery for the 3rd time. The front row seats are great. Bob Martin even handed me the $20 to put in the bucket after the show.
