I guess he HAS technically been a little bit out of the New York spotlight since he hasn't been on the Bway since April or May of last year, but that's really not that long. I admire actors like Foa who try to do a lot of interesting projects regionally in between New York roles. (Another is Hunter Foster... when I saw him in Kiss of the Spiderwoman at Signature last week, I thought about how he's done at least a half a dozen regional productions in the past year- Party Come Here, Full Monty...)
But back on topic... I am excited to see what critics think of Drunken City. I didn't think it was fluff at all.
