I should know the answer to this but I can't remember. At the top of the show Curtis' first line isa sung to the emcee of the talent show. He says, "Excuse me...would you be interested in the style of tomorrow?". What is he referring to? Is he referring to his new style of music (disco)? Or is he referring to the lastest most stylish car (he is a car salesman). Is he showing the emcee something? Some sheet music? Or a car brochure? Or a business card?

I'm guessing the new style of music

Not a dumb question at all. I worked on the show last year, and it still confuses me. Curtis offers Marty a business card, and says "I am Curtis Taylor Jr., your cadillac dealer" so he could be pushing the Cadillac, but I always thought he was referring to a new style of music - later on in the show, when they're referring to the disco remake of "One night Only" he talks again about a whole new style of music.

"Just what I need - dog acts and car salesmen." - Marty:)

There's always room for pathos - and jazz hands.
