Dying City---see it!

I saw Dying City, by Christopher Shinn, at the Newhouse Theater last night. A termendously intense two actor (three character) play. The stage is placed in the center of the theater, so it is impossible to not to feel the heat generated by the two actors, Rebecca Brooksher and Pablo Shreiber. He, particualarly, is remarkable at creating twin brothers with totally different character traits. Issues of closeness and betrayal in relationships, played off against the Iraq war truly create a rare intensity. The play only runs for two more weeks, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see a solid, serious work.

It is a very well-written, psychological puzzle of a play.
