Apropos of nothing:

I was thinking of posting this note on the Chicago "Passion"

I originally thought "Audra McDonald as Clara? What a dumb idea." How wrong I was. She played the role just as hectoring and pushy as Fosca. With Lupone and Cerveris as Fosca and Georgio respectivly, all present portraits of extreme obsessive behavior. This was possibly the best balanced of all the "Passions" I have ever heard. How I wish it had been recorded professionally.

How wonderful it is to be this wrong about something.
