I'd love to see Encores do HIGH BUTTON SHOES - and make a cast recoding - because the original cast recording omits at least five songs AND the Keystone Cop Ballet (which at last is preserved on the Jerome Robbins' Broadway OCR).

Why has Encores! stopped recording all of its shows? Now they only record shows based on demand (ie, 2003's "The New Moon). They will probably record "The Apple Tree" because Kristin's in it. Here are a few that should be recorded:

"Carnival" with Brian Stokes Mitchell and Anne Hathaway
"Can-Can" with Patti LuPone
"Pardon My English" with Emily Skinner, Brian d'Arcy James and JLT (esp. this show, because it is so little known and there is only one recording, a 1992 studio cast).
