I really want to see this, but the ticket selections are awful. Would it be better for me to wait until the day of the performance and go to the box office? I'll arrive in Times quare around ten o'clock so I'm wondering what the best time is to beg for a ticket.

That's what I'm doing, but I can't say anything from experience.

If you can't get a seat you want -- the best option is to linger out in front of the theater. I've had tickets for Sunday night for seven seasons and there almost always seems to be a few subscribers with extra tickets out front.
