I don't think Hank's coming back until November, if that's what you mean... otherwise, what DO you mean?
I hold a degree in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University. It is useless. Now I'm funny for money. Oh, and I sing.

A friend was at the show last night and said everyone was there(other than Azaria, of course).
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

KEN8631, I saw John Bolton as King Arthur and Rosena M. Hill as The Lady of the Lake. John was brilliant in the role! And he has a wonderful voice! I don't know how many times Rosena has done the role, but it seemed like not very many times. She sung the role well (especially the last verse of "Find Your Grail"!!) but her acting was somewhat restrained. She could have been funnier, could have played up the comedy a bit more.
Alan Tudyk - though not really an understudy - who plays Lancelot while Hank Azaria is away, is also brilliant! His 'French Guard' part had me rolling on the floor with laughter!

I saw Spamalot a week and a half ago and John Bolton was very good. He was a very nice guy at the stage door too. He was real nervous (he said) to be taking Tim Curry's place. When they took the fan from the audience he said "You're not president of the Tim Curry fan club, are you?" Nice guy.

Yeah, he said that to me too when I got to get on stage last week. And just before Patsy announced the winner of the Arthur Award For The Peasant Of The Year, John Bolton said to me "I hope you win!!"

Sounds like it won't matter much if Tim is out then, more of a difference if Sara is.....
Thanks!
Thanks!

Rosena M. Hill only just began understudying The Lady of the Lake. She's probably still finding her feet in the role.

That's what I thought when I watched her.
But her belt in the end of "Find Your Grail" is SO good!
And as for not seeing Tim Curry, at first (before the show started) it did bother a little, but once John Bolton had sung & acted his first scene, it didn't bother one bit. He's that good!

Good luck on catching them both. Nothing against John Bolton, of whom I've heard nothing but good things...but if you're a fan of Tim's, it's a very special experience to see him perform live. And Sara, of course, is phenomenal.
Report back on what you thought and who you saw!

Are any of the principal cast members (besides Azaria...) taking a vacation from the show anytime soon/already taken vacation from the show?
And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...
