Posted: 5/11/13 at 6:28amAccording to a tweet he just sent to Ramin it would appear Earl Carpenter (Beauty And the beast, POTO, Les Mis, POTO (UK tour) & Les Mis (UK Tour)) is set to play Javert in toronto for 6 months! Very Jealous as vocally I love him in the role and have always wanted to see him do it live!

Posted: 5/11/13 at 8:02amThis is true, and I feel your very lucky. I have seen Earl in Phantom twice, Les Mis 3 times and in We Will Rock You and the Zorro Musical and he is a VERY talented man. His Javert is the best rendition I have witnessed, he has the authority, the bluntness, yet a very strange venerability which makes you really feel for him near the end. Oh, and he sings the score superbly!

Earl Carpenter plays the title role in the first ever touring production of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Alistair Barron, Michael Diana and AC Garcia are also in the cast. After Phantom Earl is starring in and directing a UK and International tour of THREE PHANTOMS before reprising the role of Javert in LES MISERABLES, in Toronto.

Yeah earl played zorros father in the tour prior to the west end, wasnt a huge role though
He is possibly the best javart ive seen, ramin is also excellent in the role so its shaping up to be a very strong cast in toronto
