Eden Espinosa as Evita??- Page 2

I think... (I'm not sure) that Eva ages from 15 to 33... not sure though... but judging from lyrics... "there was nowhere she'd been at the age of fifteen..." and "a shame you did it all at twenty six" in High Flying adored... which in the show should have occured 7 years before her death... (she was 33 when she died...) or maybe the 26 refrence was when she married Peron... I don't know *goes to read Eva's Biography*

But I think Eden just has a youthful quality to her that would hinder her aging process in the show... but she's spanish, somehting that none of the other actresses have... so she looks the part... but doesn't look like Eva... or (I think) would not look good as a blonde... anyway... I am still rooting for Idina... and I know the negative connetation that is associated with idina in general... and that her voice is NOTHING like Madonna's or Patti Lupone's, but something different would be interesting... she can sound quite beautiful at times...

I know people don't think Idina would make a good Evita but I'd definitely trust her with the role. Eden does not have the star quality to carry this show, we have to keep in mind that it is Patti LuPone,the diva herself the one that made this show a hit in Broadway and let's face it, Ms.Espinosa cannot carry a show like Evita. I believe Ruthie Henshall or maybe Maria Friedman should have the chance of playing this role.
