That's good. I mean she's been in RENT before so it wasn't technically her first time doing Maureen in front of an audience, but still I guess it's kind of demanding after having not done it for a VERY long time. So good for her! I can't wait to see her.

nope. i'm pretty sure she's never been in Rent before. Rent was the first Broadway show she ever saw, though. That's why she's excited for the role.

oh you know what it is, i think i was confused because she performed at songs for soraya so at the time (before I even really knew who she was) just assumed. my bad.

But regardless, she must have dealt with some pretty crazy fangirls and large audiences w/ Wicked, so I can imagine she'd be pretty comfortable, and I don't doubt that her leap of face was phenomenal.

Winston, I'd have to disagree about her not seeming nervous. In the dancing parts in the beginning and during La Vie Boheme she definitely seemed a little intimidated. That being said, vocally she was steller though I have to say at times when I closed my eyes she sounded exactly like Idina.

Overall, as other people have said, give her time and she will become freer on stage. Her "Take Me or Leave Me" was excellent.

If I am remembering correctly, Eden said in an interview that she auditioned for Rent in the past, but never got it. So now she's finally in it. Good for her!

haha, that reminds me of something my friend said after I told her about Eden joining Rent:
"OMG will we see her ass?...Is her ass green?"
