Elephant Project Update: Idina Menzel and Julie Andrews... with pictures

I finally have scheduled the auctions for the ELEPHANT PROJECT to start on Wednesday, November 29th at approximately 9pm. If you do not know what the Elephant Project is, check out my website, http://www.elephantproject.org to find out more.

Each auction package comes with the picture of the celebrity and the elephant, the signed card from the celebrity, and an elephant beanie baby. There will be at least four auctions each night starting on Wednesday and I will add more for the next few days. Not every auction will occur this week. All auctions will be seven day listings. All auctions will begin at $10.

Here is the schedule for now:

Are you legally a non-profit organization? I mean, the intentions are great and the project is adorable, but I have yet to see ANY legal wording about this...

We are in the process of becoming a non-profit organization as I type this. It takes a LONG time for them to process everything though (the estimated time is 4-6 months). On eBay, by using Missionfish (their charity program), all the funds that I raise through eBay are sent directly to the Alzheimer's Association and I see nothing. I can not collect the funds in the name of "The Elephant Project" until everything is legalized. When the project is a legal nonprofit organization, The Elephant Project will be registered on Missionfish/eBay and checks/donations can be sent directly to The Elephant Project.
