Elf Ticket Prices

I was looking into purchasing tickets for Elf and was surprised that the lowest ticket price for orchestra is $137 plus another $9.50 for fees depending on the day you pick and on certain weeks the price is even higher? It was very confusing.

Are these ticket prices this high right now because its a presale?

That's on the high end, but other shows (Billy Elliot, A Little Night Music) have orchestra seats at that price.

It's a very short run, which means a very short time to recoup their investment, which means ticket prices are going to be higher.
