Anyone know who the next Elphaba is going to be? I know there were rumors going around about Lea Solanga, because she said she wanted to play Elphaba.
Anyway, anyone know anything else?

I'm going to agree with "theoneandonly" but for my money, Sherri Scott as Galinda and Orfeh as Elphaba would be genius. Can you imagine those songs being sung by rich, lovely, powerful voices that don't have a hint of affectation or screeching to them? There was a thread about Orfeh playing the Witch on All that "Crap" a while back. I have to say, it was one of the very few times I've agreed with anything said on that miserable board.

Heather Headley would be FIERCE as Elphaba. She would blast the hell out of Defying Gravity.

instead of defying Gravity, she'd have to belt out a number about Broadway being a pit stop while opening her mouth wider than Glinda's bubble.
