someone on ATC said he/she spoke to Shoshana this week and she said she wasn't doing sunday, and I called the Gershwin tonight and they said "to the best of my knowledge, she's doing it through sunday."
Would really like to know if anyone hears anything about this. I have to travel 9 hours to get to NY and have already seen Kristy Cates. I think I can still sell the ticket if necessary. Thanks everyone.

She will NOT be there on Sunday--Cristy Cates will be playing Elphaba on Sunday.

I've seen Kristy, shes fine. But I'm traveling 9 hours to see Shoshana and if shes not there...then I need a refund.

I'm 95% sure Kristy is going to play Elphaba. I was told Shosh will only be in the 19th-23rd.

Dont drive then cause Kristy is scheduled to perform. Shoshana will play thru sat night and then thats it until further notice.

Kristy's costumes aren't duplicates of Idina's like Shoshana's are. They are.. um..... high school version of them. Like Kristy's "pretty little" frock is a frumpy skirt and vest. Not a frock at all

Well, here is my review of Shoshana Bean playing the role of Elphebia last night in Wicked. AMAZING. That's my review. She was brilliant. Now, I don't just say that due to a friendship bond. I really mean it. Her acting was just as strong as her voice, and if you know her voice, then you know how the rest of the entire evening ran. She really made the music her own, without taking steps outside of the boundaries of the melody. {J} and I sat next to Gavin (Creel) who couldn't help but cry after everyone of her big numbers. I admit, I was just as proud as her. We both looked at each other during intermission and were like "Our Baby is making us proud." She was. She rocked the house down. Now, the funny thing was this woman behind {J} and I who constantly talked throughout the production. Yet, it was so funny when she said "See, she sounds so much better tonight then she did on the Tonys." Hahaha. I love Idina, so it's not a hit from me. I just thought it was such a beautiful compliment to Shoshana and her incredible gifts. I know most of the show is completely sold out for her run, but if your able to get yourself a pair of tickets, you must, if for nothing else, then to support this incredible beauty of a STAR.

I shouldnt have read that. now im dying to see her too! I'm seeing Idina's second to last performance and saw Eden in June. I'm seeing it again in march with my school and i reeeeeaaallly wanna know who is taking over for Elphie!
