Hey everyone,

Wanted to let some of my favorite peeps in on what's going to happen at the Embrace Concert for the Matthew Shepard Foundation this Thursday.

-Max von Essen and Nikki Renee Daniels will be singing a duet from their west coast hit, DORIAN.

-Emily Skinner will be performing a song from Disney's ON THE RECORD, so if you missed her in the show, don't miss this.

-and of course, Laura Benanti will be singing No One Is Alone as a duet with her mother, renowned voice teacher Linda Benanti.

So there's a few things I hope will encourage you to pick up a ticket.

AND-if you buy a show and party ticket, there will be dozens of reality television stars, the cast of embrace as well as Judy Shepard (Matthew's mom) all at the after party if you'd like to chat with any of them.

There may be some available at the door, but since we just announced Patrick Wilson today, I think there will be fewer left. So I recommend not taking a chance and ordering them ahead of time.

I just posted about his appearance on various Patrick Wilson fan sites...remaining tickets may go like hot cakes--and for a worthy cause.

The duet that Max and Nikki sang in DORIAN is so beautiful and sweet. Wish I could be there. Can't wait to hear reports.

okaaay, so now that i'm breathing again...

does anyone know if this is GA or assigned? my reciept doesn't indicate either way.

also, does anyone happen to know where the stage door is at the Westside theatre?

Hey there,

Thanks so much Beacon for posting to other sites.

Yes, Emily is singing from Home on the Range I guess. It's a Bonnie Raitt tune.

The stage door to the westside arts is actually inside the building.

There will also be a number of really fun auction items to be bid on!

And they are assigned seats in the theater as well...any other questions, don't hesitate!

well, since you offered...

will any of the performers actually be coming out of said stage door after the show?

and since i guess i won't know where i'm sitting till i get my ticket from will call, how big is the theater? since i just bought it today will i be way back in the mezz?

i'm REALLY looking forward to this! it's on my birthday; what better way to treat myself?

Well there will be a lot of games and toys (not the naughty kind), also tickets to a lot of shows, and perhaps some stuff from Mr. Wilson and we're working on a date with some of the performers, that's always fun.

And if you want to meet the performers, I recommend buying the tickets with party passes. :)

Ohh... are you recording the concert??? Emily's rendition of "Will the Sun Ever Shine Again?" is SO gorgeous!!! Seeing as she won't actually be on the recording of OTR... *rolls eyes*

aw, i thought about buying the party ticket too but i'm sooo poor. i'll try my luck with the stage door, i guess. and of course i won't be able to afford any auction stuff. oh well
