You betcha, Ruffian!
Thanks for reading that, everyone!
bdwaygirl, you can't make me confess!!! :)
But believe me, by the time the show finishes in September Adam will think I'm part of the décor of the Palace! Oh dear....
QM
And that's a bad thing? lol
Definitely not for me, not too sure about him though, HA.
But then again, he is used to slightly crazy people
QM
I sure hope he is. And slightly? Well.....
Oops, sorry, forgot to thank you, crp2000 for the Aida info. I am looking forward to seeing Ms Campbell. I shall find out about her proper name next week, I guess.

QM, I've seen it a few handful of times and was getting to know the concession people and some of the other workers, so don't feel too bad! I miss Ray and Victor.
Emcee, couple questions for you. During the Fortune reprise, did Adam do justice when throwing the chalice? And do you remember what the audience reaction was when Amneris came out from behind the wall?

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
hahaha, well I have answers for you!
1. Adam did justice. He belted out the "Fortune" reprise and I almost melted into my seat. He sounded beautiful. He threw the cup with such force and emotion. And those arms... yay Adam!
2. Right before Amneris came out, I looked at Cara, and teasingly went "ooooh!" Sure enough, seconds later the enter theatre either gasped or went "oooooh!" It's so funny to see that reaction.

very very very very happy for you luvtheEmcee!!!!
YAY!
~it's say it was saycon's last day. you are right she is great!
Aw, thanks broadwaygirl!
yup... this is just me shamelessly bumping my own thread up, because I'm feeling the need to share my sadness. I'm finally beginning to snap back into reality and return to Earth from Cloud 9, realizing that the big day is actually over... and I'm really sad that yesterday was potentially goodbye. Just needed to share.

Goodbye for the show maybe, but it wasn't Adam's funeral or anything. You'll see him again in something else, Emcee, and you will always have lovely Aida memories.
I've already come to terms with the fact that Adam will not be sporting a lioncloth. What a shame.
And yeah, I KNOW that Adam will be around, and that I'll be able to see him again soon (especially with the new CD and all) but saying goodbye to my favorite show is going to be really hard for me.

Awww... *hugs Emcee* Sorry about Aida, but every show closes eventually. (Rent is perfectly safe here in Denial, though )
I don't think Adam should do Tarzan, I think the show sounds kinda dumb, but if he wore a loincloth I would be singing a different tune...
Thanks, insomniak. I'm hoping to get there at least once more to say goodbye... I know all good things must end, but it's too soon.
Anyway, I'm not too thrilled with the idea of Tarzan being a Broadway musical (I mean, there's better stuff to be done) but Adam's part sounds like it would entail a lot of singing for him, and that makes me happy.

As the storyteller, what would he wear? All black? And would we even get to see him?

"(remember swinging from a vine??) "
Elaborate? What?
Do you know any specifics?
YAY! I can't believe that in the course of my "busy" life I forgot you were seeing AIDA! I loved your review, as always. I'm so glad you had fun!
haha, I don't at all expect you to remember, silly! No worries. Thanks, though!
Adam as the storyteller: I always envisioned all black... I don't know why. I suppose that once Aida closes *sob* we'll be hearing more.

Mostly likely all black, I agree. Where will they put him? I also heard rumors that Tarzan is going in the Palace. Any truth to that?
I'll do it, too! Wear all black, that is. I have that Aida shirt that's black... the one with the eye of Horus on it. I'll wear that.

I'll wear all black too, sheep that I am, even though I have not been fourtunate enough to see Aida. *sob*

I don't have that shirt!
I DO have the white one with GODDESS in sequins across it.
I love that shirt. It's been washed too many times. I need to buy a new one.
That isn't appropriate to mourn in, is it?
Sure. Just show your support. This is making me really sad.
