Yes, but in defense of that, I saw the second or third preview of Spelling Bee, I think. In any event, it was one of the very early ones. Apparently right after I saw it, Act II underwent enormous changes, and I guess now it's all sung-through. It wasn't when I saw it. They were still toying around with a lot of the scoring, and with the intermission. I want to try to see it again, if I can, since so many changes were made. I saw the fifth preview of DRS, but it hasn't changed nearly as much as Bee did. They seemed to be in much better shape, even at that stage.
