Posted: 10/28/05 at 9:13amI've been twice - both times they were led by Sean McCourt (current "Dillamond") and Anthony Galde (swing, Wizard/Dillamond understudy). It's really worth seeing - they are really knowledgeable, it's fun to see the museum, and the Q&A's have been really interesting both times.

It's $25. I had the same tour guides as CapitalEss (Sean and Anthony). No, you don't go backstage. Basically you go up to the upstairs lobby, which is set up like a Wicked museum. There's costumes (Kristen's Glinda and Idina's Elphie costumes are there), props, model sets and pics. They take you around the small museum and explain everything and answer any questions you have. You can take pics.
Then you go into the auditorium where no pics are allowed where you watch a 20 minute film of interviews and stuff with surprisingly, the tour cast (no broadway people are in it, except the ones who are in the tour now - it is Steph and Kendra). The vid is pretty much a much more drawn out vid of the trailer that is on the official Wicked site.
Then there is a Q&A, where you can ask Sean and Anthony just about anything.
As for merchandise, they still do not have anything for the curtain thing yet, but said it is in process and we could leave our emails for updates.
The whole thing was about an hour and a half. I have pics of the museum stuff if anyone is interested.
Hope that answered all your questions.

There were no important people there, but it was still informative. You don't get to go backstage and its 25$, and not worth it. And i dont think there was any specail merchandise.

Posted: 11/3/05 at 8:03pmI like Sean McCourt. I don't think I'd say he's "unimportant", as an actor or as a character!

Posted: 11/3/05 at 8:05pmSean is also a super-nice guy. I had seen him as the Wizard two nights before and told him he was excellent. He was so flattered. And he knows so much about the show since he's been in it since the San Fran run.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 12:21pmYou CAN get tickets that morning, but there is long line up. If you already HAVE tickets, you get to be the first up into the museum and have more time there.

I did it, It was horrible, i mean i knew i didnt get to go back stage, but they just showed you pictures and models. Then yes, you can ask the guys questions. But more of then than not they said "sorry, cant answer that" or "we are not at liberty to discuss that. I really wish that I didnt get up so early for somthing so dumb. Oh and the video, look at https://www.idinamenzel.net/sounds.htm (one of my favorite sights)
There is more footage there than on the tour. DO NOT DO THIS TOUR IT IS A RIP OFF!!!!
