Encore Series -NY City Center Stage

Does anyone attend or subscribe to the Encore Series at NY City Center Stage. Saw Damn Yankees there last night (1st time at theatre) . Loved theatre and noticed they have a series you can subscribe to in winter in which subscriptions are already sold out.
Is this that tough a ticket and do they offer decent individual seats for sale when public onsale starts? Thanks for your help! Any subscribers out there..how long and what kind of seats and are subscriptions usually sold out every year?

It's really tough to get a new subscription. Additionally, it's even HARDER to get a good subscription. When they are available, new subscribers are seated in the rear mezz or gallery.
