I can't go to any of the performances, but I have it on very good authority that LuPone has dropped out and Ziemba is performing in her place.

Did she drop out or was she asked not to perform? I love Karen so I am just as happy

She "dropped out" is what I heard. Those were the words used in the conversation. I didn't ask for details.
