That was a strange article...the engagement is a "revenge" against Napolean?
But I'm supposing, based on the information mentioned, this is a World Tour?
I wondered about that too. Or if it's the mysterious NETworks tour going out next year.
If it's a world (or European) tour, I bet Michael McCarthy will be in it!
PJ, that was the most offensively perfect thing I've read on this board in quite a while.
This is sooo odd.. but I love me some LES MIS Updated On: 3/24/09 at 01:20 AM
ThanksToPhantom-- Not to offend you, but I think you're a little bit confused. They meant that the original novel itself, not this production, was Victor Hugo's revenge against Napoleon III (Not Napoleon Bonaparte). That would be pretty cool, though!

They're also saying it's revenge though with the production because it's going to be in English, and Hugo used to work against Napoleon III in Britain.
From what I've heard about musicals in France, I cant see this doing well, pluss they are doing it in English?

I know all about "musicals" in France. I don't see this doing well either.
The production of A Little Night Music referred to is apparently going to star Leslie Caron as Mme. Armfeldt.
I believe that the Millenium Centre in Wales will soon be announcing a Cameron Mackintosh show as their big show for December/January 09/10. Could it be Les Miz?

You never know. It could Phantom or Miss Saigon or Cats.
There is a UK tour of Les Mis planned.
