Ensamble Members you love...

I was wondering is anyone has an esnamble member that they really like/sticks out alot (in a good way) to you.
Personally Both times I have seen Wicked (sorry to Use The "W" word) I have been really impresed with Kathy Deitch. Who I heard was really good al last nights "new voices" thing. anyway her acting in the Shiz Scenes where shes one of the two girls that worship galinda is great. And I think that she is just very much in the moment. Also her Voice is GREAT. the first time i saw the show I was close to the front on the left (audience perspective) and During the "No one Mourns..." reprise at the beging of act two she was right in front of me thus I heard her the best. And I couldnt help thinking "WHY THE HELL ARENT YOU A LEAD IN SOMETHING?"

So who in shows that you have seen really sticks out for you...?

Jen Cody always manages to make her part look like it's just as important as one of the leads while at the same time not upstaging other ensemble members
And she's such a sweetheart

elizabeth loyacano!! i saw her when she was melissa's understudy in dracula but she's usually one of the vampires/ensemble members. she has a few solo lines to sing, but it wasn't enough. i think she's amazing and hope she goes far. Updated On: 1/11/05 at 10:19 PM

Trisha Jeffery...played an urchin in LSOH revival and is now in the All Shook Up ensemble. She deserves a bigger role!!!! :-P

Oh, and how could I forget...
VANCE AVERY saw him once as one of the CABARET BOYS and once as EMCEE for NEIL PATRICK HARRIS. He is phenomenal! Anyone know what he's up to?

i agree kathy is so good!
i mostly look at dancers in wicked ensemble- i really love 1 of them her name i think is Asmeret, she has puffy brown hair. she came to the stage door on sunday and i wanted to meet her so bad but didnt want to yell her name out b/c i didn't want to say it wrong! lol

Amneris, did you see the photo spread she had in the post from hairspray? it was her posing in a 60's car I believe.

Hollie Howard really does stand out. I got to see her as Penny for that one week, and she was really awesome. Anyway! I think Sean McCourt just needs to be The Wizard. It's enough already. And, I didn't know Trisha Jeffery was in All Shook Up! That's pretty nifty. (Mmyeah, I just said 'nifty'.) OMGOMGOMG 'Pick A Little, Talk A Little' was just playing on 'The Nanny'. Hm. Well, it's a Nanny special, but.

Asmeret is an AMAZING Dancer and just as sweet as she is talented. She's always been so sweet and kind when I've spoken to her. I haven't seen her since she's been in Wicked... but I am so excited to get back to see her and Phil Spaeth - another absolutely AWESOME dancer.

No i didn't see the Holly spread :o( But, I will say she is a very, very kind and talented girl.


I also think Ioana Alfonso of "Icked" :) is a stand out with the big puffy curly hair. I saw her numerous times in the tour of Saturday Night Fever as Shirley and also in this show. She is a beautiful dancer and always exciting.

brad bradley - was in annie get your gun, is coming back to broadway soon in spamelot i believe

Scott Wise and Victoria Clark come to mind. They've advanced from ensemble partly now, but ...

Cynthia Onrubia too at one point was in every chorus I was watching.

Kathy was amazing on monday at Duplex, i agree... And I saw her tonight in Wicked and was equally impressed...
Oh and Robb Sapp. I adore Robb Sapp....
I would say the u/s's in Avenue Q as well, Aymee Garcia, Peter Linz Leo Diagnault, Angela Ai and soon to be lead Barrett Foa... Love those guys!

I'm sooo happy to see that the person I can to talk about was already mentioned!

but she spells it Hollie not Holly

So Yea Hollie Howard is a real standout performer! I absolutly adored her in Hairspray and I saw here go on as Penny a few times actually and she was great at being a spaz! lol She's a really nice girl as well! Go Hollie!
