The show will probably have more appeal now that Quaid won't be in it. I find him to be one of the most annoying actors of all time.

So is the show (with the same cast minus Quaid) going to finally come to broadway or at least record an album?

There is an off broadway cast recording of the show. I don't know for sure if it has Quaid in it or not. I don't think it does but don't quote me on that.

As I said before, I don't think that it will get produced. For two reasons. One is that I remember reading somewhere that Quaid had it in his contract that without him the show doesn't go on. And, that by hiring Quaid and giving him as much power as he did leads me to believe that the producers don't have that much faith in the work as is. So, I think that now that the producers don't have their star they aren't going to go on and produce this.
