Was the Grease tour from the Grease revival with Rosie O'Donnell?

Im not quite sure what you're actually asking, but an equity tour is all AEA performers. A non eq tour are actors and actresses who are not yet members of AEA.
And as for Chicago, it's an equity tour with former Broadway cast members in it, and yes, it's the same as the Broadway production.

the chicago tour you saw was an equity tour, but grease, casts, and miss saigon were all non- equity. although they were non equity that does not mean they were non union meaning they are affiliated with some type of union. the full monty, although is non union so it is not affiliated with any type of union. equity tours are usually made up of the same types of actors who work in the broadway shows etc.

Posted: 6/4/05 at 3:03pmIt's possible you did not see the same design or staging of these musicals as the recent Broadway productions. But, that's not to say that a touring musical shouldn't be its own production and design. As long as they are honest about that.

Posted: 6/4/05 at 3:28pmIt is not unheard of for an equity performer to do a non-equity show with another name. Don't ask me how I know this.

It's called scabbing.
But it's kind of neither here nor there in terms of the question--which was, I believe, more prodcution-oriented.
(ETA: "Show listings manager" Is this new??)
