Erin Dilly

ok, I just heard a song on T.V. I think it was Erin Dilly, did she do "Babes In Arms"" in 1999? I guess I missed something there! anyone know any details? Is this how she got her start? How old is she? thanks.

She played Billie in the Encores version of Babes in Arms.

Yes she was in the Encores! production of Babes in Arms and actually she had been in Beauty and the Beast as Belle I believe(would have to double check character) just before flying to New York to be in Babes in Arms. It starred a great number of people including Australian performer David Campbell, who almost did Thoroughly Modern Millie, but long story as to why he didn't. As well as other actors like Christopher Fitzgerald, Kevin Cahoon, Scott Irby-(forgive me but I forget his last name), and many others. They put the show on like any others Encores! show and performed five performances I believe. Really a great show. If you're an Erin Dilly fan I would recommend it. Lady is a Tramp is a great song.

David Campbell's really cute on it, too. And unlike a lot of his other performances in which his American accent sounds quite JFK-like, it's decent as Val.

Going on what my boyfriend said to me that Erin Dilly I think she may have made it to dress rehearsal and then she got sick and then before she got entirely better they had placed Sutton in the role. I don't know. Where's lesserworm when ya need him?
