Hearing Ethel sing "Small World" so beautifully is enchanting and haunting. It's almost like she is singing to the entire world.

Yes, that recording of the rehearsal piano is certainly eerie, but Ethel's voice is as wonderful as always.

How is she? Any good? Does she stage door? What does the curtain look like? Does she do lol eight shows a week? Who's her understudy?
I have heard she's got a big voice...

Well Joey, there is the Ray Knight footage, but it's under a minute's worth of silent 8mm colour footage. It includes Some People and Rose's Turn, as well as some other scenes and the curtain calls. Plus there is this "new" colour footage I'd never seen or heard about that came with the black and white rehearsal footage. The rehearsal footage was apparently shot by Gypsy Rose Lee (she said so in an interview).
