Who is going and if you're not going, why aren't you?
I'll be there this weekend! I'm really excited, did anyone go tonight? How was it?
I went tonight, it was pretty full and a lot of fun. There were some great songs done, it should be fantastic this weekend
I'd love to go - I'm kinda scared of the Taboo junkies though. I went to a performance of Caligula and it was like I was back at the Plymouth - some of them are nuts.
Actually none of the "scary" people were there tonight. You should go. Especially tomorrow or Thursday because since they're in the middle of the week maybe less people will be there. Besides, Taboo junkies or not, you can handle it.
I can only go sunday night - I need to be at all 8 shows of bombay.

I'm going. I just haven't decided which day yet.
I'm going I can't wait

TabooJunkie BUT not crazy one
I went last night, was disappointed that Euan only did two songs - one at the beginning and one at the end. The others were good though, and Liz McCartney was also in the audience (Brian Carlson saw her and missed a line in his song - lol)....
What did Euan sing and everyone else, too? How long was the show? Who's Brian Carlson? I need more details, please!

I have the song list at home, but I remember Euan opened with an occapella version of "Smile", then Poncho (Cary Shields and Mark Jackson) did 5 songs, there was a break, then Brooke Elliott Jeffrey Carlson (my mistake, Jeffrey, not Brian), and Denise Summerford did 3 songs each. The third song Jeffrey did was with Denise, and for Denise's third song she had Brooke sing with her. Euan finished with some Elton John song. Then they all came on stage together to take a bow, but no encore. Disappointing if you came to hear Euan sing, since he sang less than anyone else!
He probably only did 2 because of the 5 solo shows he's doing. That would be my guess. Are you going to one of his shows? What time did you get out of there? I'm surprised they didn't do an encore.

Show was supposed to start at 8, I think it started closer to 8:30, and was over by 10 PM.
He teased about an encore, and said they weren't doing one.
The seats are interesting there, most are from automobiles...
No, no time to go to another one this week - was hoping Euan would at least sing as much as the others, or at least sing with one or a few of the others...
That's too bad that you can't get to another one. I've been there. I like it. I don't go until tomorrow for the first time. Can't wait.

They did however said they'd do an encore on Saturday night but who knows.
Shockingly, I thought the seats were more comfortable there than they usually are at theaters- maybe because they are car seats so they're made to be sat on for long periods of time.
I got there at about 7:10. There were already about 20 people or so in front of me.
Wife and I arrived early (too early) last night at 6 PM to pick up tickets (there are no tickets, just a hand stamp). Asked a woman walking by if box office was open yet, turns out it was Kathie Lee Gifford, I assume she was there for the "Under the Bridge" play thats scheduled soon there (she wrote book/lyrics I found out on Zipper website afterwards - was wondering if was her). Nice lady. She suggested we check out "Under the Bridge".
How was the show with just Euan?

I had an absolute BLAST last night and would recommend going to see this concert to anyone who enjoys Euan or some well-sung tunes in general! Euan is such a charming and natural performer and this setting totally suits him. He's funny, engages the audience and can sing basically anything. Highlights of last night's set was a chilling cover of the Leonard Cohen/Jeff Buckley (that's how I know it) song "Hallelujah", a rocking cover of John Lennon's "Whatever Gets You Through the Night" and a Queen song that was amazing and I wish I knew the title of. He also sang "Pie in the Sky" from the London version of Taboo, and "Hold On (As Tight as I Can)" from Caligula. The encore was the one and only Neil Diamond classic, "Coming to America". Needless to say, it was hilarious and you'll see why when some pictures of evening surface (Bruce Glikas was there, so I'm sure some will!). Denise Summerford was around to help out with backing vocals and sang two tunes herself while Euan was taking a break.
It was really such a fun night! It could have gone on for a couple more hours and I wouldn't complain. I was really impressed by Euan, and though I've been a fan of his for over a year now, he managed to surprise me with how able he is to sing just about any style of music, how funny he is, and how natural he is in basically any setting. He rocks. I want to go again!

I too was there last night and I'll be there tonight as well but I have to say that it was awesome. He is a truly talented performer who has such a great manner to him that lends itself to so many different styles. I was thrilled to hear him do Hallelujah again because he had done that at Joe's Pub and it's been one of my favorite songs for a long time now.
Personally, as much as I loved the group show, I enjoy Euan's solo shows more because you get more of a feeling for the person when they do an entire concert as opposed to when they only do two or three songs.

Bumping this because I saw his solo show tonight with bythesword.... Definitely a new Euan fan here. What an amazing performer!!! "Hold You (As Tight as I Can)" had me in tears; beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Loved the entire show.... I had a blast. I wish I'd gone earlier in the week because I'd definitely go again.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
I was at Thursday's show as well and fell in love with Euan all over again. His cover of "Hallelujah" gave me chills. He really is just a gorgeous, talented man!
Why must his cute Scottish ass be deported? Why?

You went Thursday?
Are you going to be there tonight, too?

Best part of the show, the encore! Euan, Jeffrey, Denise, Cary and Brooke all sang "Come on In From The Outside" from TABOO! It was so great, I wanted to cry.
