Woohoo tmz814 I'll be there on the 24th as well!

Thanks Kelly, I don't think Euan knows how to disappoint.

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

Here's a review from Talkin Broadway -- I pretty much agree with everything he says:

How great to read discussion about a show you're working on.

Just for the record, Tuesday was essentially a first preview. Because of Festival schedules, you sometimes get reviewed your first time in front of an audience, and that's what happened. I can't disagree with what a lot folks have said, and it's just too bad we couldn't have had a full run-through before press came. But, it's the nature of the beast, and it's what we signed on for.

So the show is absolutely not frozen - cuts (and pretty significant ones) are going in, and the show should be noticeably streamlined by the weekend.

And hopefully we won't start an hour late ever again. I was amazed we had any audience at all by that point. Damn those uncooperative light boards.

Seeing this tomorrow, am looking forward to it...

Just wondering, how big a role does Sebastian Arcelus have in it?

What time would be good to arrive at the theater for the sunday, 7pm show. I know it is general admission and I would like to get good seats. Thanks so much in advance!

It's a very small theatre (only 100 seats or so) and there aren't any bad seats in the house, so I wouldn't worry too much about getting there very early (I don't think the house opens before 6:45, anyway). I would think 6:40-ish (or a little before) should be just fine.

I saw this last night and really enjoyed it. I'm listening to the sound clips now and pondering going back in October. I'm depending on this show to bring eyeliner and glitter back to Broadway!! Euan was just sublime-- everyone was great, but I couldn't adore that man more right now. I like the score as well. I have some complaints with the show (length, choreography), but overall I think it has extreme potential and I hope it keeps developing.

Saw it, thought it was great. Music, everything, especially Euan and the narrater (a Raul Esparza-like part for the narrator, even the hair - lol). Euan spends about 5 mins walking around nude, the girls behind us were noticing the uncutness (lol)... Plus his sister is partially nude, and some breasts on the others during a small part. Everyone was very good, nice standing ovation at the end in a packed small former-church theatre. Sounded like Euan had a bit of a cold, but still sounded good. Nice catchy tunes, large cast for such a small theatre but it worked very well! Was 3 hours, but went by rather quickly as it was pretty fast paced. Well worth the $15!
