European Tour of HAIRSPRAY?

Has there ever been talks of this? I'm guessing they will want to see how the London production does first?

European tours of shows are pretty rare – with so many different languages being spoken, most productions are ‘country-specific’. Hairspray might get German, Dutch or Spanish productions, but they’re unlikely to actually leave the country.

Having said that, they’ve done it with Mamma Mia, so what do I know?

Hairspray is in preperation for a production in Holland. Not exactly a tour but im sure a German production will follow soon. The South African show opens this Autumn.
