Evening Primrose?

Posted: 6/22/07 at 4:47amI also heard of my local community college doing a production of the show in a one act festival. Didn't make it out to see it, but it was so interesting. It sucks when things get tied up with rights, especially things like this. It's not like someone else is DYING to musicalize it. And who better to musicalize most ANYTHING than Stephen Sondheim? Come on now.

Well I think Sondheim himself--wh8ile the rights issue isn't his--has said it wouldn't work as a theatre piece for a number of reasons (all mainly stated here already)
