To the OP: How often will a Broadway role come along for which Casting Directors are looking for young kids? Not that often. Not going to the audition is one way to be sure you won't get the role, so if you are interested you might as well give it a try.

This is no help to you, but I loved Eamon in the role. His character is bizarre, funny, scary, pathetic, and a great singer. If Eamon is in the lineup again, I hope he's still got that great voice with the knock your socks off high notes. Remember, Ben Brantley already has him as a Tony nominee on his list.
