Although she's dressed up to the nines( ok with this line)
At sixes and sevens with you( what does that mean?

it could mean that she is dressed to the nines, helping people of a much lower social status (sixes and sevens). i dunno....just a guess.

"At sixes and sevens" means that a person is in a state of confusion or disorder. I think it means that Evita was dressed to the nines, but she was uncertain about how to approach the crowd.


If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Yes--at sixes and sevens means confused, disordered or at odds with the situation. Evita was formerly one of the unwashed (and badly dressed) down in the crowd, and now she is dressed to the nines, putting her at odds with them, her former equals.

Plus, its a nice turn of phrase.....
