Evita song at The Tonys??

Hey. I was wondering if someone could help me. I'm not very familiar with the music from Evita, and I remembered there is a part of a song that I love that I am pretty sure I heard at the Tonys. I don't remember any of the words, but it was very fast paced, and more like talk singing done by Patti LuPone. Thanks so much!

They performed "A New Argentina." I believe that performance is on one of the Broadway's Lost Treasures DVDs.

And let me tell you it was fierce! One of the best Act 1 endings ever.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

A year or so later Patti LuPone performed Buenos Aires as part of a medley of shows over the years.

I would hardly consider Eva's crazy belting in " A New Argentina" talk singing.

I've watched that video many a times and I agree with Gothampc it is complete 110% fierceness.

Yes, that is greatness. I agree that it might be the best closing of an Act 1 ever. Mandy Patinkin as Che = perfection.
