I pray that this tour comes SOMEWHERE near me! The cast is looking real good, now we just gotta know who's gonna play Faith.

There were a lot of updates promised this week, but none fulfilled yet, anyone know why?
I could have sworn I read somewhere that Karen Olivio was coming back for the tour..
No, Karen will not be coming back.
The songs section and street team will open later this week, because of a couple of problems I had with them. Both should be up no later then Sunday.

I'm really glad that Lee is coming back. That's too bad about Karen, though.
Yeah just announced finnally that Julia Reiber will play faith for the first tour and how they are having a 2nd tour later.

O ok, just as long as they open before I have to go back to school next week...
Wait, a 2nd tour?
EDIT: Also where do they "announce" these things?

Darn, that means I may not be able to see Diana Degarmos in the tour! (or the rest of what seems like a great cast!)
Unless they plan on keeping the same cast for the 2nd tour?

I might have to drive the 2 hrs to ATL to see this. Anyone know how prices are going to be?
Wait, no standbys?

I'm sure their are, they probably just didnt include them in the "press release"
Well, then, they should avoid the use of the word "complete."
(The BROOKLYN demo CD is my guilty pleasure...)

I wouldn't complain, since right now the closest stop near ME is 10 hours away...
No Chicago, Boiston or Los angeles. You would think with DeGarmo they wouild get bigger cities

Maybe they'll announce some bigger cities in the 2nd tour, which BETTER have the same cast!

I doubt it will have Degarmo. Yeah, I'm not mad about having to drive. I mean hell, I was going to drive the 2 hrs to see Norbert too - but that didnt work out. I don't care who is in the tour, I just want to see the show. I just wonder if it will have some sort of student rush/discount.

Thanks for the pictures. I'm still not entirely sure what to make of Brooklyn overall but I have confidence in Diana, Melba, Cleavant, Julie and Lee.
How were Melba and Diana in their roles?

I don't think anyone's heard the show yet. It's just a press rehearsal? I'm not sure. But it looks good. Looks like the set will be pretty cool. Can't wait to see it in ATL. Are tickets already on sale?
EDIT: Nevermind. Bought my ticket.

Tiny-Toon
do you have any understudy names?
According to Julie Reiber's site, she will yet again understudy Brooklyn (like she did on Broadway) in addition to playing Faith.
The current rumor is, when Diana departs to return to "Hairspray," Reiber will assume the role of Brooklyn. That is, currently, just a rumor though.
Diana was amazing.. she is perfect for this role (she is also the right age). It's incredible to see what everyone did in just 2 weeks of rehearsals!
I don't know her name yet, Kav.
