I'd like to make a quick exit after the show. Do you have any advice on where to sit (or not to sit) so that I don't get caught in a human traffic jam? I'd also like a good view, so prefer not to be in the back row or too far to the sides. I'm looking at row WW in one of the side sections, where there is an access aisle directly in front. Alternatively, I could get an aisle seat in a more central section. I assume orchestra is better than mezz for a quick escape, but correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks in advance.
My family and I were in the mezzanine last week for the Christmas show and it did not take long to exit. We were in the 5th row (right) and on the aisle if that helps. Orchestra would probably be a bit quicker but really don't think and extra 3-4 minutes will affect you that much.
I think that it depends on how crowded the theater is and what day you go. Anywhere in NYC gets crowded in the afternoon time and throughout the whole evening.
Good Luck
