Hello,
I have a question that lurks at the back of my head.
As obsviously, nearly all of Broadway is on that ridiculous strike. I know some shows like Les Miserables, The Grinch and others are on Broadway until January 2008. As it's unknown how long the strike will last for, do you think any of the shows due to close in the new year will extend if the strike is over by the end of this year?
Also, would any actors extend their contracts if their due to leave by the new year (if any of their shows are involoved with the strike as well)??
Thanks

For a show like the Grinch to extend would basically be throwing money away since no one will be going to see it in the middle of January. Shows already scheduled to close like the non profit limited engagements and Spelling Bee are going to take all the extra cash this has earned them and run with it. Extending would mean pumping that money into an unprofitable extension.
