Extreme Sides at School of Rock

I'd like to see School of Rock sometime this month. I'm considering buying the tix4students seats that are on the extreme sides of the front orch and mezz, but a quick google search about those seats during Mamma Mia reveals that they weren't great. Has anyone sat there for School of Rock? How obstructed is the view? Is there an advantage to choosing right or left?

If you're on the very extreme sides of the mezz---that's all I'm familiar with--you can't see deeply upstage.  There's a scene in which Alex Brightman is writing something on a blackboard, engendering hearty laughs from the audience, but I could not see what he was writing and was clued in only after the fact.  I would avoid those extreme sides.

for those who have sat in the extreme side orchestra sections, did you also have similar problems (missing what's written on the blackboard etc.)? I haven't been to this theater and wasn't sure if the orchestra is as wide as the mezz. tix4students pretty much offers all side orchestra seats, and I wonder if somewhere extreme side but in the middle/rear orchestra would be an ok seating option...

I definitely would avoid the front side orchestra. I sat towards the end of the front row on the right side and much of the staging impeded my view. This was particularly true in the classroom scenes when 20 or so desks were placed directly in my line of vision.

Those seats are awful. Info about the theater, it use to be for showing horses and stuff, so it wasn't really intended for actual theatrical use. The extreme sides are really awful. I don't know how Mamma Mia lasted there so long by selling those seats. I was in the Mezz for Rocky and was curious about the view, so went to the side and sat and could barely see a damn thing. And School of Rock's design is very layered so I think you'd be missing out by sitting to the sides.
