Sorry.. im not a big phantom person but who is that guy playing with his eyes in the phantom of the opera movie trailer? what does he have to do with the plot?

Buquet or someone from the freak show. Buquet does so to mock the Phantom about his facial distortion and to scare the chorus girls.
