Yes, I sort of figured maybe the 'genitals' thing was just a slurring of the word, but Jim Norton usually speaks SO precisely (and I've never heard him slur that word before) that I wondered if it was possibly on purpose. It being the last show and all
He always says 'Verashki jacket', which is fun
I think what impressed me the most (and I loved so much) WAS how they tried out new things right up until the very end. I wouldn't have been surprised if they had settled down into a routine after 4+ months, but they never got tired or stale or even complacent. There was something new and fun and surprising EVERY show I saw
And they played so off of each other. When one would change how they played a scene, a different emotion or whatever, they others changed as well. They were always so in the moment, reacting and really living their characters, with what was going on around them
That's what made this cast and this play so special, for me anyway
And I have my Port Authority ticket too -- I am SO there as well :)
So, Morse would be up for Leading? I would think so.
He was wonderful, by the way.
So glad I finally saw him on stage.
Who would be his competition?
Last I heard, all 5 were eligible as 'featured'
Is that true?
Since Sharky is on stage pretty much the whole play, that really never made much sense to me in the first place. Is it because it's such an Ensemble play?
yeah, i think so.
i was afraid of that.
it just seems to be "his" play (as in Sharky's).
even if he doesn't speak the most.
too bad best ensemble isn't a category.

That's funny because the few times I saw the play I heard him say what I thought sounded like "genitals."
I wasn't sure if it was just me--if I was mis-hearing him.
LOL! Maybe that's what he was supposed to be saying??? Uhh....I don't know...
