The new Kritzerland release is Burt's amazing soundtrack to Casino Royale - in a sparkling new presentation. It's too complicated to write about here, so just visit www.kritzerland.com to read all about this release - featuring the score in film order for the first time, with three bonus cues, and an entire second presentation which you have to read about to understand.
If you've never heard this score, it's filled with incredible Bacharach tunes, and includes his smash hit The Look of Love sung definitively by Dusty Springfield - the title tune is played by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass.
I'm posting this late, I'm afraid, and there are only about 120 copies left at this point, so if you love Burt, go check it out and listen to the samples and, above all, order quickly.
For cast album fans, I can tell you that early next year we've got three great cast album reissues coming - none ever before available on CD. Don't think Time For Singing or Donnybrook - in fact, don't think US.
