On a new Facebook post, David Yasbek is playing the run from The Full Monty overature and says we will be able to hear it live in 2027.

This show is very much overdue for a revival and I think it would do very well with the right cast!

Full Monty is a small show in a big show’s body: you could probably cut the cast way down with a bit of doubling. Use the strippers, one other guy, one other girl and a kid.
I’ve always thought that the reason the show doesn’t get much exposure (pun intended) is that people overestimate how economical it is to stage, then they look at the script and get a rude awakening.
