FYI Legally Blonde fans....they now have Thursday night post-show talkbacks

I saw the show Thursday evening and there was a large insert in the Playbill announcing that during the month of September they would be conducting a Q&A talkback after the Thursday performances. The insert says it would only feature Bailey and Autumn, but they were joined by Orfeh, Kate Shindle, Michael Rupert, Kevin Pariseau, Amber Efe, Barry Anderson, and Richard Blake.

Surprisingly, it was really informative and interesting. Yeah, some of the questions people asked, anyone on BWW could easily answer, but still, the cast went really in depth. The two who spoke the most were Kate Shindle and Richard Blake. Michael Rupert was the moderator.

Shindle, who I've always loved in the show, comes off as incredibly articulate, well-spoken, and highly, highly, intelligent. The insight that she provided in the Q&A about the creation of the show and the creative process was fascinating. I got the sense that she would be a really remarkable person to interview.

The cast was incredibly friendly to the 40 or so people who stayed, and you got the sense that with the exception of Amber Efe (who when asked what her favorite part of doing the show was, responded without hesitating, "The big fat pay check") they all really like doing the show.

Anyway, just a heads up if you're a fan of the show...

I know Amber pretty well and she really does LOVE her job. She was obviously joking. She does a lot of extra work for that company.
